Add your ingredients, soup/liquid or oil and simply turn on and adjust the knob to the desired heat level (high or low) just like on a stovetop.

1. Pop & Toss

Pop open the lid & toss your raw ingredients into the metal bowl. Make sure to fill the base of your Itaki Pro with 2 cups of water.

2. Seal & Cook (Choose Mode and Preset Schedule)

Put the top on your Itaki and use the 2 side clamps to seal everything in. For the quick to use Bento GO/Jumbo, simply tap the Cook button on the front side & you're all set. The Chefbox Smart Bento PRO 2.0 will have 4 additional cooking modes and preset scheduler functions!

3. Enjoy!

Depending on your meal, it will take anywhere from 10-30 minutes to finish. When it's done, you'll have a hot and ready delicious meal!

I had my first Itake Chefbox for a good few years, using it about 3-4 times a week. All of a sudden, the heating element stopped working (might have banged it the week before). I tried all the tips that are given to check if it's due to not adding enough water ( I always did), cleaning with vinegar for any mineral deposits (did it once a month) or if the buttons didn't work. it's guaranteed under my warranty that I could get a replacement if it broke.... took a bit of time but I was mailed a brand new Chefbox and I am so ecstatic that they stand behind their product. I love using mine for meal prep and all I have to do is heat while working. I wished they also sold extra of the 304 stainless steel compartments so I can do more than meal prep the night before but make 2-3 meals beforehand, just a suggestion! Otherwise, great customer service, awesome device and I cannot recommend enough :)

So this was a replacement itaki because the other one packed up . So far its working really well and there are no problems i should stress however even a tony amount of water in the electrics where you plug the plug into fhd socket can mess up the device so do not under any circumstances let any water get near the bit where the cable goes to plug it in. When the itaki has cooked the meal i recommend a dry cloth to wipe it down and get rid of the excess water from the bottom of the cooker then dry it with a tea towel. I like the recipe book but would be wonderful to have some more recipe ideas but has worked well and ive made soup and curry and all kinds of things in it .

Works as advertised on instagram. Took a few minutes to figure out the two button controls. Design is good. Do not cook scrambled eggs in the metal tray or you will have a bad day cleaning. Gasket seals on lids get warped and worn quickly but they do the job. For the price and convenience, think its worth it. They need a better courier though.

have yet to test it out - but I'm in love with the design and how compact it is! the trays are surprisingly more spacious than I thought they'd be, so it'll definitely be enough to make me full The description did mention that it came with a full recipebook, which I did not receive in my package so that was a bit disappointing and misleading - there was only a user guide with instructions for 4 "common" types of food to cook. Nevertheless, excited to be able to eat my homemade meals fresh now instead of just reheated leftovers

I love it! Its relatively less efficient than just cooking on the stove (or Shabuki pot lol) or microwave but when you're out an about at like a hotel or at work its a lot easier and cheaper than eating out. Its a lovely lil gadget and beautiful too. If you meal prep all your ingredients before hand and just set it up to cook while you work I can see how itd get a lot quicker when you're busy at home but I haven't reached that skill level yet lol. The noise level while cooking is minimal but still present, I wouldnt use it in a library (assuming Im not prepping ingredients right in the library either lol). Its not particularly bothersome to me, might be to others. Its not much more than a pot boiling but important to know. Instructions seem a lil vague but its been kinda fun to see the community figure it out too and doing own experimentations. Customer support has been lovely too. 100% reccomend if you love bentos (like me), cool gadgets (like me), are super busy (with general time sectioned for meal prep), or travel a lot. Its a beautiful thing that fits nicely in a backpack with some rice and potatoes. (Rice takes about 40 mins with potatoes taking around 60+ mins, rice is explained but potatoes arent)

Works as described and is easy to take to work. I love the product and the options this has opened for my lunches at work. If I had to criticise anything it’s that the construction of the casing doesn’t create a full seal so when your water is boiling there can be splashes of water that come out, with some kitchen roll underneath this sorts the issue out but something worth looking at.

So i have used this about 14 times and the biggest problem i have is the length of time it takes to cook something even when following the directions from the company. The last time I used it to cook a breakfast consisting of one egg took over 4 hours to cook just the egg. (Yes everything was inplace) it handled the re-heating of the sausage links fine. But heaven forbid that you use a sausage patty that is raw that takes about 4 hours to cook as well. Over all not worth the money I spent to have a hot breakfast that is not fast food .

Spicy beef rice noodle soup made on my office chair :) Also makes killer mac n cheese! At first I actually bought a knockoff for a few bucks cheaper (it's smaller and much flimsier with black interior) thinking it was the same but it's NOT! The knockoff had black inside lining that was non-stick but has some kind of PLASTIC coating I didn't notice until around the 3rd time use the thing started smelling like melting plastic and little pieces of black color started coming off washing it! After some research it probably has Teflon which is toxic and all the reviews that sell that knockoff are probably paid for or people haven't noticed yet, it's toxic anything non-stick usually is! I wish more people knew! I have a peace of mind now using the real Shabuk pot not to mention it holds WAY MORE food. Does stick a little in the bottom if you're not careful though so don't let it get too dry but it should auto off itself if it starts sticking!

I really love this product. My mum got it for me so I can eat healthier at work. It’s makes even more excited for lunch time. The size is decent and not to big at all. The lunch bag that it comes with is also a great addition as I can put my small juice/milk box with it. The size of the containers are also good as it makes for the perfect portion of food. I recommend anyone who’s trying to save money and are trying to eat healthier to purchase this product.

I bought the new magic itaki because it was on sale and I had some birthday money to spend. I was tired of always having cold food for school because by the time lunch would roll around any hot food would be cold. I’ve been testing it out and it works pretty good! Food heats up surprisingly fast that I accidentally overcooked my pasta in it. I’ve been trying to find some trays similar to the one in the Itaki and haven’t had any luck though but all in all a product that’s worth it’s money.

I’ve used it twice so far and it’s working great. The bag it came with broke apart, but it was cheaply made and I didn’t expect it to last that long anyway. It’s not a dealbreaker by any stretch. I had to reach out to customer service for the free recipe e book and they responded to me favorably in a couple of business days, which is a reasonable timeframe. 5 stars.

I haven't used it much yet but reheating leftovers has been awesome! It actually gets hot and I definitely want to cook something with it. It keeps food cold until it's time and heats it as well. This lunchbox steamer is handy to cook for one or two depending on how much you eat. I think it’s best suited for protein veggie combinations with rice versus soup or stew. I’m learning how to make the best use of it. For someone who has food intolerances and allergies this allows me to have more flexibility in preparing healthy meals on the go.
